Mischa Barton Arrested for Possesion of Drugs- DUI

Mischa Barton was spotted out just days ago smoking a joint in her car, it comes as little surprise that she was arrested in West Hollywood early Thursday morning for DUI.

“According to Lieutenant Honings of the West Hollywood Sheriff’s office, the former star of The O.C. actress “was stopped at 2:46 a.m. and arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of illegal narcotics and driving without a valid license.”

"During Ms. Barton’s detention, it was determined that she was an unlicensed driver and was driving while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage,” police told press, adding, “Ms. Barton was arrested and transported to West Hollywood Sheriff’s station where the booking process was completed without incident.”

Barton was released after posting $10,000 dollar bond at around 10 a.m. and the investigation is still considered ongoing.

According to Source. “Her mother picked her up in a black Mercedes.Thursday. Her mom carried the paperwork. Mischa walked out with her arms crossed, covering her face with a scarf. She tried to lay down in the back of the car. She was given a police escort so nobody could follow her.”

Initially, police also said she'd been arrested for possession of illegal narcotics, but no more details were available.

Postponed Rwanda trip for Paris

Paris was reported to go to Rwanda foundation trip to make some charity work and wanted to change her image to the people. The socialite tells about her African ambitions, "I'll be going in November, after I get back from filming my movie. There's so much need in that area, and I feel like if I go, it will bring more attention to what people can do to help."

"I want to visit more countries where poverty and children's issues are a big concern," she says. "I know there's a lot of good I can do just by getting involved and bringing attention to these issues."

But all of the sudden the Rwanda Trip for Paris Hilton has been postponed by the foundation that organized it. Organization states that “Due to the restructuring of the Playing For Good Foundation, the philanthropic trip to Rwanda that the foundation had previously planned with Paris Hilton has been postponed.”

They never even tell whats the reasons behind.. They just give these statement: “Paris has been a loyal and gracious supporter of Playing For Good but the foundation has to regrettably reschedule this trip. Playing For Good would like to thank Ms. Hilton for her generosity and her continued support of this initiative and is looking forward to rescheduling the trip with her at a later time.”

Boycott Britney Spears' New Album!

Britney Spears' former bodyguard, a backup dancer, and a makeup artist, as well as some of Spears’ old friends have started a MySpace page called “Be Proactive to Help” . This is an organizations which is pleading and urging the public and fans to contact Britney Spears' label, Jive Records, her management company, and television networks such as MTV to voice their concern. They want the public to boycott and not to buy her upcoming new album, “Blackout” until she cleans up her act.

One of the organizers declared, “Our message is simple, don’t buy her stuff until she’s better.”
“Let them know you’ll buy her album, but not until she is clean and sober and realizes the amazing life she has created for herself. It is every employer's job to make sure their staff is doing their job to the best of their abilities."

"They say that," the former Spears colleague says. "But in reality, they let her act any way she wants, as long as her records sell. Every time she's on a tabloid for embarrassing herself or being a bad mom, what do they care? They don't.

"We've all hung out with Britney a lot," says source. "We've seen her at her best and at her worst. And we aren't doing this to be mean. We're doing this out of concern, for herself and for her boys. They need a mother figure and right now, they don't have that."

"And it's sad that people around Britney care so little about someone who makes them so much money."

Eva Longoria changing her last name into Parker?

Seems like Demi Moore started a new trend when she take her husband Ashton Kutcher’s last name. And now Eva Longoria has announced that she, too, will be adopting the last name of her husband Tony Parker. (French NBA Player)

This 32-year old “Desperate Housewives” actress told the press that she is stinking with tradition by becoming Eva Longoria Parker and she thinks that she loves every aspect of it!

Eva continued, “I actually completely adopted the new name and I love it - I’m a Parker now! I love every bit of it - I like the tradition of changing the name. I’ve been getting used to being called Mrs. Parker for a while now, it’s really nice to hear. Especially in Texas, everyone is really respectful there.”

But Eva reports that they're not in a hurry and they're taking things one at a time. They're still enjoying the honeymoon period of their marriage, Longoria also reports that kids aren’t in the near future.“Not for me, and not for Gabrielle,” she told press, referring also to her DH character Gabrielle Lang.

Well, its good to hear that one.. I think every woman should take their husband last name after the marriage. Two thumbs to you Mrs. Eva Longoria Parker!
